Cases of word usage

1) a familiar and wise saying, e.g. 'Beauty is only skin deep' (adage)

2) a person who acts in drama, performs music etc, for pleasure only and not professionally (amateur)

3) only a very little (barely)

4) a person who is learning and has only a little experience (beginner)

5) a small house with only one storey (bungalow)

6) only (now the usual word) (but)

7) having bowels that are emptied infrequently or only with difficulty (constipated)

8) happening very often or with only short breaks (continual)

9) a person who does things (contrasted with a person who only talks about it etc) (doer)

10) understood by, intended for, only a small number of people (esoteric)
