Cases of word usage

1) the sudden change from something interesting, noble etc to something ridiculous or insincere (often deliberately for humorous effect) (bathos)

2) insincere talk (cant)

3) deliberately forced; insincere (contrived)

4) not solid, with a hole or empty space inside; unreal; false; insincere (hollow)

5) (the art, theory, of) presenting facts and ideas in clear and convincing language; exaggerated, insincere language (rhetoric)

6) to show one's dislike by using a wrinkled nose and an insincere smile (and perhaps despising words) (sneer)

7) allowing light to pass through so that objects (or at least their outlines) behind can be seen; (of a person, behaviour) obviously insincere etc (transparent)
