Cases of word usage

1) to settle a dispute (between two opposite sides, opinions etc) by acting as the chosen judge(s) (arbitrate)

2) a game in which a word is guessed after each syllable of it has bee suggested by acting a little play (charade)

5) acting in a just and honest way; in accordance with justice or the rules (of a game etc) (fair)

6) to ignore, refuse to carry out, (something) by acting without respect (flout)

7) acting or ready to act as a friend (friendly)

8) (a part of) the solid surface of the earth; soil; reason for believing, acting etc in a certain way (ground)

9) (of a person, behaviour) acting on, resulting from an impulse (impulsive)

10) (of) a person acting as a link between (groups), especially to get agreement (intermediary)
