Cases of word usage

1) a small piece of coal, wood etc partly burned, no longer flaming and not yet ash (cinder)

2) a payments which must be, but has not yet been, paid to a person (debt)

3) (placed after the noun) appointed to a position (but not yet installed); to mark or point out (something) clearly (designate)

4) to find out (something) (by accident); get knowledge of (something existing but not yet known) (discover)

5) (used after a noun) chosen but not yet in office (elect)

6) not yet fully developed; too soon (because not ready) (immature)

7) present but not yet active, developed or visible (latent)

8) smaller or less important (than others); a person not yet legally of age (under 18 in GB) (minor)

9) planned but not yet carried out (projected)

10) a written statement of facts, events etc; being the best yet; a limit, score, point, mark etc (high or low), not reached before; (especially in sport) the best yet done (record)
