Cases of word usage

1) a part of a sentence that is not the subject or predicate (and can be omitted without making the sentence ungrammatical) such as 'with the red hair' in 'The boy with the red hair fell off his bike' (adjunct)

2) giving information how, when, where about a verb, such as happily, today, well, as in smile happily, come today, feel will (adverb)

7) any animal of a group having jointed legs, a segmented body and a hard external skeleton, such as a crab, spider, beetle or centipede (arthropod)

8) a true statement that is obvious, such as 'All humans are mortal' (axiom)

9) personal possessions such as clothes, furniture (but not land, buildings etc) (belongings)

10) (of materials such as packaging) able to rot and be destroyed by natural means (biodegradable)
