Cases of word usage

1) the money (to be) paid by one person to another by a judge's order, after a legal separation or divorce (alimony)

2) (e.g. of a book, character, situation) separation into parts possibly with comment and judgement (analysis)

3) (a period of) separation (of imported animals) from others until it is known that there is no danger of spreading disease (quarantine)

4) the act of reuniting or being reunited; a meeting of old friends, former colleagues etc after separation (reunion)
