Cases of word usage

1) a player who bats (battalion)

6) (of) the political group, party etc having (more) conservative views; (of) (the position of) a player on the right edge of a football or other sports field (right wing)

7) (a record of) points, goals, runs etc made by a player or team in sport; a reason; point; (a set of) twenty (score)

8) a worker who strikes; a player in an attacking position (striker)
