Cases of word usage

1) the part of the body that includes the stomach and bowels (abdomen)

2) a thing or part that is abnormal (abnormality)

3) a collection of thick yellowish white liquid (called pus) formed in a diseased part of the body (abscess)

4) a part of a sentence that is not the subject or predicate (and can be omitted without making the sentence ungrammatical) such as 'with the red hair' in 'The boy with the red hair fell off his bike' (adjunct)

5) (also called antenna) a part of a radio or TV system which receives or sends out signal (aerial)

6) a part of a wall set back from the rest, often with a bed or seats (alcove)

7) to give out (to each person, group) a part or share etc of (something) (allot)

8) (of a person) not able or willing to show feelings or take part (because nervous, arrogant etc) (aloof)

9) (a musical part for) a person having the highest adult male singing voice or the lowest female singing voice (above tenor) (alto)

10) (a part or total) loss of memory (amnesia)
