Cases of word usage

1) the end part of the arm after the wrist; a pointer or similar indicator on the face of a clock or watch; to give or pass (a person, thing) (to a person) (hand)

2) a thin, pointed piece of polished steel with a small hole at one end for thread, used in sewing; a long, thin piece of metal used for knitting; a pointer used as an indicator in a measuring instrument, compass etc (needle)

3) a stick etc used to point to things on a map etc; an indicator on a dial or balance (pointer)
