Cases of word usage

1) a tall drinking cup (of plastic), usually without a handle (beaker)

2) a handle (also called tiller) or wheel, used for guiding a boat or ship (helm)

3) the handle of a sword or dagger (hilt)

4) a deep container for liquids, with a handle and lip (jug)

5) a round handle of a door, drawer etc; a round control of a radio, television etc (knob)

6) either of the two ends of the Earth's axis; either of the two ends of a magnet or the terminal points of an electric battery; thin, long, rounded piece of wood or metal, e.g. as a handle for broom etc (pole)

7) a deep cooking pot with a lid and a handle (saucepan)

8) the long handle of an axe or other tool; a long bar joining parts of a machine; one of the pair of bars (wooden poles) between which a horse pulls a cart etc (shaft)

9) a long steel blade fixed in a handle (hilt), used as a weapon (sword)

10) that moves the rudder and is a long handle used to turn a small boat (tiller)
