Cases of word usage

1) a small piece of coal, wood etc partly burned, no longer flaming and not yet ash (cinder)

2) (to cause something) to catch fire or burst into flames or flaming colour; to encourage (strong, feeling, interest etc) (kindle)

3) an electric light held in the hand; a piece of wood etc soaked in oil etc, used as a flaming light (torch)
