1) the nose and mouth if an animal (e.g. a dog or fox); a guard of straps or wires placed over this to prevent biting etc (muzzle)

2) one of the hard, white structures in the mouth, used for biting and chewing; any pointed part of a comb, saw, rake etc (tooth)
